Now superstars of US country rock, The Red Clay Strays' international profile has skyrocketed since the launch of their self-released 2022 album Moment of Truth, which featured humongous TikTok hit 'Wondering Why' (currently sitting at over half a billion streams on Spotify alone). Successfully navigating album number two follow-up jitters with 2024's chart-hitting Made by These Moments, the Alabama collective give thanks to the ever-burning, guiding flame of faith on their third studio record Grateful.

Reuniting with Grammy award-winning producer Dave Cobb, The Red Clay Strays' new long player was laid down between studios in Nashville and Savannah, Georgia. A golden-toned, boogie-igniting rock 'n' soul opus, swirling together southern gospel fervour and a whole lotta heart-on-sleeve earnestness, Aotearoa fans get to hear Grateful before everyone else on streaming services due to the magic of international datelines. Grab a physical copy from good record stores and make a wish for local live shows...

"Moment of Truth was a big album about having faith in dark times, looking to a higher power, and Made By These Moments focused on realizing those dark times that you were having to have faith through, which made you who you are. You made it through when you didn’t think you would. And now we’re at a point where we’re grateful. Looking to God in whatever situation you're in is a denominator in all of the albums." - singer / guitarist Brandon Coleman

'Grateful' is out today via RCA Records / HBYCO Records.
