Ebony Lamb & Gram Antler Announce New Zealand Tour + Gram Antler Unveils Single 'Novel Lover'
Currently based north of the equator in Tokyo, Japan, Aotearoa songwriting sensations Ebony Lamb and Gram Antler are popping back home this winter for a gently paced double headline nationwide tour. Both once members of Pōneke folk flag-flyers Eb & Sparrow, they've pursued intersecting musical pathways in recent years. Featuring Antler on guitars, Ebony Lamb's 2023 self-titled debut dream-pop album (released via Nadia Reid's Slowtime Records) garnered prestigious finalist placings for both the APRA Silver Scroll Award and the Taite Music Prize.
They're now paving the way towards the launch of Gram Antler's debut solo album Novel Lover, revealing today the synth-soaked title track. Feeling like a karaoke tune beamed in from a woozy late night hotspot, the video for 'Novel Lover' is a multi-media postcard collaged from Antler's explorations in Tokyo. Out in the world on 10th July via his own boutique imprint ELGA, you can preorder the vinyl edition via Antler's Bandcamp page HERE. Catch the talented pair performing across the motu together this July and August...
