Sogg Unleash New Single 'Argument'
Maintaining a rich lineage of Ōtepoti amp-worship with their recent cover of 'Point That Thing Somewhere Else' by The Clean — which in fact featured David Kilgour on guitar — southern trio Sogg sound less beholden by tradition on their new noise-rock stomper 'Argument'. Summoning a fuzz-fried ferociousness which reminds these ears of Chicago imprint Touch and Go's output in the early '90s, 'Argument' is the lead single revealed from Sogg's upcoming Freezer Thaw EP.
Launching on 3rd July as part of the 4EPs collection via DUN Records, Freezer Thaw features alongside new works by peers Sivle Talk, U-No Juno and Vagina Dry, each act allocated individual sides of the double LP release. You can preorder 4EPs via Relics Music Dunedin or / and grab a copy on the door at one of the upcoming 4EPs Release Celebration Shows, spotlighting all four emerging groups together at the following dates...
