Hard-Ons Unveil Korean Language Mini Album
Aussie punk pioneers Hard-Ons have been experiencing a modern day renaissance, boosted to new generation of fans around the globe by director Jonathan J. Sequeira's back-to-back documentaries The Most Australian Band Ever! and Harder And Harder. Back in Aotearoa this winter for gigs at Tāmaki Makaurau's The Mothership and The Raglan Pub, they're keeping the oft-neglected mini album format alive with their accurately titled brand new four track Korean Language collection, released in advance of an upcoming trip to South Korea.
Sung by founding bassist Ray Ahn in his mother tongue, the mini-album features absolutely ripper takes on classics from the Hard-Ons songbook 'Where Did She Come From?', 'Raining", 'Just Being With You' and 'Suck and Swallow', sounding astonishingly fresh, especially considering the fact Hard-Ons have been going for more than four decades! Crank it up, have a listen to their new single 'My One Regret' featuring Jerry A from Poison Idea, and put their winter NZ shows with Tim Rogers (You Am I) on mic duties on your mandatory gig list — brought to you by Low Tide...
