Moments In Time 1990-2021 is a new compilation gazing backwards (and on one track forwards) at the solo recording career of Ōtepoti luminary Francisca Griffin, co-recipient of the prestigious Classic Record accolade in 2024 for her work with all-wāhine Flying Nun collective Look Blue Go Purple. A snapshot of Griffin's achievements outside of LBGP, Moments in Time threads together tunes recorded anytime between 1990 and right now, featuring rarities alongside live tracks, concluding with a one song preview from Griffin's forthcoming Regret Less.

The captivating 'Starfish' reemerges from foggy memories of IMD's 1995 Disturbed compilation, sitting quite comfortably next to the title mantra of 'Ghost Lights', released 25 years later on 2020's Psi-Isolation compilation (usefully cherry-picked, as that collection features 119 tracks!). A powerfully distinct vision, roaming terrain somewhere between dream-pop soundscape, noise-rock and gloriously unvarnished songcraft, Moments in Time 1990-2021 feels like an endlessly rewarding listen.
