Miriam Clancy Announces Girl About Town - 20YR TOUR

From Great Barrier Island to New York City, Aotearoa songwriter Miriam Clancy is back in her homeland this month, teasing the imminent launch of new album FINAL GIRL and revisiting high points from her musical career so far. Launched two decades ago, Clancy's debut single 'Girl About Town' made an immediate splash, earning a top 20 finalist placing for the 2007 Silver Scroll, an auspicious start to a songbook now encompassing four studio long players and counting — including her standout "acoustic slice of small town noir" 'Ghost Town' from 2009's Magnetic, and 2023's Kill Rock Stars single 'Wicked Little Town'.

Collaborating with fellow NYC-based Aotearoa artist Dion Lunadon on a loving new version of 'Pink Frost' by The Chills, Clancy has teed up headline dates at Tāmaki Makaurau's Whammy Bar with Jol Mulholland and Pōneke's MOON with Joshua Winger.
