Ride On Super Sound Benefit Gig Announced ft. Ben Woods, KOMMI, Uncle Quentin, missrosevalentina + More

An invaluable, staunchly independent and far too rare Aotearoa destination where music, comics and zines can happy cross-pollinate, Ride On Super Sound are indeed "Ōtautahi's favourite non-profit volunteer-run record, comic, zine and bad idea store." To paraphrase Spider-Man, being cool carries big responsibilities — which is why they've put together the impressively stacked Ride On Super Sound Needs A Lawyer benefit gig, taking over local venue hub Space Academy on 4th September.

Special sonic guests include Port Noise-nik Ben Woods, 2025 APRA Silver Scroll co-winner KOMMI, digital pop queen missrosevalentina, balaclava-adorned songwriting sweetheart Uncle Quentin, Lyttelton drum 'n' bass producer Monika, Canterbury noise-punks The Perfect Gun, a selection of "homeopathic" DJ sets, plus live visuals by Fantasia A.V. to boot.
