"It feels like everyone is going through a lot right now and I think this song reflects the sense of instability we’re all experiencing. We wanted to show a more emotional and vulnerable side, we love making noise and making a scene, we are always up for being the high energy band, but we also have fun exploring other sides of our musical abilities. We played with dynamics in this song and explored an edgier side to the band’s sound. It’s a nice cathartic end to our high energy album.

‘A Knife’ is definitely one of the more simple songs sonically but complex lyrically. Using lots of imagery to communicate a sense of sorrow and mournfulness.
