HORN Touring New Album 'Bright Green Dull Ache' Nationwide
The post-punk / alt-rock vehicle of Te Whanganui-a-Tara songwriter Abigail Macilquham with friends, HORN have carved out their own distinctive space in Aotearoa's noisy underground, sharing two albums this far during this turbulent decade. The artist has revealed album number three Bright Green Dull Ache is on the way, the rapid fire follow-up to 2025's squalling and poetic Options — recorded in Newtown by Macilquham and Warwick Donald, mastered by James Goldsmith, launching on vinyl LP on 22nd October.
On the mega-stacked bill for last month's Great Sounds Great festival, HORN's first ever vinyl release will be celebrated with a four date sonic jaunt across Aotearoa this coming November and December, featuring a suitably top tier selection of special guests in Ōtautahi, Tāmaki Maukaurau, Ōtepoti and the capital. Notably, HORN's hometown event will be an intimate Wellington house show (venue to be released), featuring Silicon Tongue plus more. Check out the nationwide tour details below and look forward to fresh offerings from HORN in the very near future...
