Video: Smith Westerns - Varsity

When this video - for Smith Westerns' track 'Varsity' from forthcoming album Soft Will - begins with sticky, close-up shots of diced fruit, one begins to imagine the clip will be a scientific study of sorts. It sort of is, in an anthropological way too as - in keeping with the track's title - the video details an intimate relationship between two university students. Sure it's an anthropological study that has been played out on a lot of indie video clips but hey, it's shot quite beautifully. Check it out below.
