Melting Pot Massacre are an Auckland-based all-girl Asian punk band who formed in 2011. We mention their ethnicity because it forms an important part of their sonic identity; Melting Pot Massacre write short, aggressive tracks that discuss immigration and discrimination in New Zealand. They're due to release their debut EP Diaspora next week (which we will stream from Monday here on UnderTheRadar) and will play shows in Auckland and Wellington throughout June to celebrate.
