Laurier, the recording alias of Wellington based Huw Wenden, has just released his debut EP Faded via our promoter pals Madcap Music. Taking the name from a ghost town neighbouring the Canadian Border, Wenden leads the wave of local future-beat producers based in our nation's capital. Title track, 'Faded', is a slow-paced atmospheric piece that builds in intensity, inserting a vocal hook from 'Swimming Pools (Drank)' by Kendrick Lamar.
