Megadeth Pull Out of Soundwave But Will Play Westfest 2014

Megadeth have pulled out of their Australian tour as part of Soundwave Festival after a bizarre stoush with organiser AJ Maddah. While most festivals this summer have experienced issues with their lineups, social media certainly ups the drama and while no official reason has been given for the cancellation, FasterLouder has put together a great post on how the saga unfolded over social networks that sheds a bit of light on the situation.

Despite all the drama above,  Megadeth still intend to perform at Westfest 2014 next week as scheduled according to organisers.
