Live Photos: Suren Unka Album Release - USEC, Auckland

Auckland ambient musician Suren Unka celebrated the launch of his debut album El Chupacabra on Saturday with a gig at the Union Street Event Centre in Auckland. Unka was supported by fellow electronic music makers Fergus Waveforms and Fly Nights. El Chupacabra is named after a mythical hairless creature which eats livestock, Unka says he chose the title because it reflects how he wants people to engage with his sounds, saying: "We all end up as mythical creatures when we are fully immersed in music."
