Listen: Cool Running - Cool Death (Running Tings Remix)

A few weeks ago when we spoke to singer Rory Treadaway from Cool Runnings he mentioned off-the-cuff that the group were hoping to release a dub remix of one of their songs. Well, here it is in all it's reverb-dripping glory. 'Cool Death' was put out by the Auckland four-piece punk band recently on 7-inch vinyl, backed by a track called 'Bother Me' by friends The Admiral. Treadaway says the song the song is about "choosing how you die and acknowledging that you can go out on your own terms". Where is the original cut is a hyped-up and distorted affair, the reggae remix is completely chilled back with echo for miles. Take a listen below...
