Listen: Yumi Zouma - Salka Gets Her Hopes Up (Mark McGuire Remix)

Following on from their self-titled debut EP that came out earlier this year, electro-pop trio Yumi Zouma are now sharing a series of remixes of the four tracks. The reworked songs come courtesy of Wild Nothing, Mark McGuire, Kalto and Essay and are available for streaming via the group's Soundcloud page as an entire EP. The re-imagining of 'Sålka Gets Her Hopes Up' has McGuire (formerly of prolific Portland trio Emeralds) weaving more shimmering textures through the already fanciful track. The friends who form Yumi Zouma (Charlie Ryder, Josh Burgess and Kim Pflaum) are these days divided between New York, Paris and Christchurch.
