Video: Perfume Genius - Grid

Mike Hadreas, aka Perfume Genius, is sharing a brilliant video for the second single from his upcoming third album Too Bright. The clip for 'Grid', directed by Charlotte Rutherford, features an immaculately groomed Hadreas steadily pushed and shoved by a gang of faceless, silver-clad creatures until he appears bruised and bloodied. Too Bright is due out 19th September through Matador Records and is a sonic leap for the Seattle-based artist and tackles themes of gay panic, strength and power. He explains: "a lot of these songs are me trying to claim some power in situations that would typically depress or alienate or victimise me". Watch the striking clip for 'Grid' below...
