Wellington solo artist Aura is sharing new tune 'Prime Time Crime' from Conference Of The Birds EP, released this month. According to the musician, whose real name is Albert Williams, the five-track offering is inspired by the "five indestructibles... Love,Truth, Justice, Faith and Peace", and was produced with assistance from fellow Wellingtonian Jon Lemmon.
Leaning on folk tones, the tranquil 'Prime Time Crime' was written using lyrics adapted from Joni Mitchell's 'Dog Eat Dog', and blends beautifully chorused singing with simple guitar lines that expand as the song plays on. Listen below and head over to Bandcamp to pick up the whole EP...
