The Lonesome Pine Specials Announce Nationwide Tour With Archer

Revival act The Lonesome Pine Specials are hitting the road next month with Australian-based sing-song man Archer (pictured above) to take their old-timey tunes around the country. Ragtag group The Lonesome Pine Specials brings together fiddle player Flora Knight (The Eastern), folk musician Hannah Harding (Aldous Harding) and multi-instrumentalist Ben Woolley, who together carve out Carter Family style numbers that will ring through town halls like bluegrass rings through the Appalachian mountains. The three-piece will be beating an extensive path around New Zealand with North Carolina native Archer, a who plays stripped-back arrangements that serve to enhance his gut-wrenching voice.
