Video: The Raw Nerves - Let Me Listen To Your Problems
The Raw Nerves had a good old fashioned sausage fest while cooking up the video for their new cut 'Let Me Listen To Your Problems'. The Auckland four-piece got grinding for the Alexander Hoyle-directed clip, which has been unveiled with the banger from the band's forthcoming 15-song record More Nerves. The album is due out 22nd June through local label 1:12 Records and is available for digital pre-order over on group's Bandcamp page, with vinyl release looking likely for August. Take a peep at the wiener-laden clip below...
THE RAW NERVES SAUSAGE RECIPE
Ingredients:
- 5 kgs of free range pork. We got ours from The Highbury Butcher on the North Shore, who mixed up some pork belly and shoulder. It was good and fatty, but not too fatty.
- Hog casing
- Fennel seeds
- Fresh leek
- Garlic salt
- Determination
ROB SAYS – I brought a fresh leak to add flavour
Method:
1. Cut up the pork into pieces small enough to fit in your meat grinder
2. Grind it into mince
3. Crush the fennel seeds
4. Chop the leek
5. Mix the fennel seeds, leek and garlic salt into the mince
6. Attach the casing to the attachment of the sausage machine
7. Put the mince in the sausage machine
8. Crank it!
9. Tie them off
10. Fry in generous amounts of butter – low and slow
DAVE SAYS – I fed them to my family and no one died
