Museumofgarrett.com & 13 Garrett Street presents: ARCHIVE FUNDRAISER ft. Dom Ashby, D.A.F.M, Silicon Tongue, High Ambition, BABETECH and Much more!

13 Garrett Street (also called 'Morrisons' Building') is a converted warehouse building in Te Aro, Wellington, Aotearoa / NZ. Built in 1937 to house a printing press, it has been a residential ‘flat’ for decades - famous amongst many in the city for housing artists, activists, musicians and the occasional massive party. The building is currently yellow-stickered (Earthquake Prone), and needs to be strengthened by 2027. These are the final years of 13 Garrett’s life as an un-gentrified space for political and creative communities in the city. We are using this time, the final breaths of Garrett, to gather the histories of the building’s uses and of the many communities who have come through.

To help us gather your stories, memories and moments at 13 Garrett street for museumofgarrett.com we have decided to host this fundraiser in order to help us consolidate all this history and store it in a way that is timeless. This is an open call for anyone who has interacted with 13 Garrett Street to share your stories with our growing archive. During the evening we will have Real Live Archivists collecting written, verbal and audio visual stories.
Join us at we eat kai together, reminisce on crazy times, make art together and of course, party to some incredible live music.

Tickets are $20 via UTR. Koha is available for those who need it but Capacity is LIMITED!
Doors for the museum opens at 5pm, Music begins at 7pm.
See you all there!
