Sidewinder return to Wellington, fresh from their recent support slot for Slomosa, this time taking the lead alongside two of Aotearoa’s most gloriously loud heavy bands.

Wellington’s own Sidewinder have carved out a formidable place in the local heavy scene, fusing riff-heavy psych, swamp-drenched delta blues, and southern stoner rock into a sound that is unmistakably their own. Joining them are Planet Hunter, four middle-aged mystics from Aotearoa’s damp green underbelly, forged in Wellington’s mould-stained back alleys. Their musty, heavy riffs feel like decades of rain, rot, and revelation distilled into sound.

Also appearing, Courtnay & The Unholy Reverie emerge from the heart of Taranaki with a hypnotic blend of swamp blues, soul, and rock — raw, electric, and ritualistic. Their live show is less performance, more invocation: an invitation to lose yourself in something dark, intoxicating, and unforgettable.
