Hotel Emily have spent 2026 sharpening their sound and steadily working their way into the Ōtautahi indie sphere. Driven by restless energy and a love of the craft, they are becoming one of the city's most exciting new voices.

The Norwesters

The Norwesters are a folk-punk group from Christchurch, New Zealand. Drawing on Celtic, Greek, Balkan and wider European traditions, they breathe new life into old songs and dance tunes with an energy that is both reverent and riotous.

Max Walker and the Montes

An indie folk group from Ōtautahi. Playing some original tunes off Max Walker’s debut album. Music inspired by the whenua in which these boys grew up in.
