Revolver and The Have New Zealand Tour March 2007

Revolver and The Have New Zealand Tour March 2007

Tuesday 20th February, 2007 12:00PM
Two of New Zealand’s finest rock and roll bands are hitting the road together for the first time this March.

Hot on the heels of Revolver’s debut album Parlour Games, and just before the release of The Haves upcoming album, this tour will be a must see for any fan of goodtime rock and roll!

Both bands are known for their electrifying live shows and their old school swagger. Having both played Big Day Outs in the past and endured numerous nationwide sojourns these young bands are somewhat experienced at life on the road. They always ‘bring it on home’ where ever they play.

If you’ve seen or heard them before you’ll be there, if you haven’t you should be as you will gain yourself two new favourite bands in one single night.

Tickets available at the venues.

Thurs, March 8th- Wellington, Bar Bodega
Fri, March 9th- New Plymouth, Basement Bar
Sat, March 10th- Palmerston North, Bar Mode
Fri, March 16th- Mount Maunganui, Brewers Bar
Sat, March 17th- Napier, Latitude Live
Fri, March 23rd- Auckland, To be Confirmed
Sat, March 24th- Hamilton, The Castle

Parlour Games- Revolver, 4 stars, Rip it up Oct 2006 “The perfect soundtrack to debaurchery and goodtimes”. “Parlour Games” is a confident debut and one of the finest NZ rock albums of recent times. It’s catchy and infectious, but like a good stripper it reveals just enough more of itself with each listen to keep you entertained for a very long time indeed. Mark Paterson- www.varsity.com “They (The Have) just rocked. They really blew me away", Arnold Frolows, Ex Music Director, Triple J Network. "Its been a long time since I had seen a great rock and roll show (and) I would be just as quick to proclaim them rock and roll as hell. It's a Texas rock and roll tradition to spit beer on bands we dig to show appreciation; this was the only show during SXSW where I had to wipe my camera off"
