RIP Heavy D

Sad news of the death of pioneering rapper Heavy D has begun circulating online. Details are still unclear but TMZ report that he was found unconscious at his Beverly Hills home and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead at around 1pm (10am this morning NZ time) - he was 44 years.
