Split Second (9pm) – “Founded by Chenny and Jackie, SplitSecond originated from the roots of the metal genre. 6 years later after a few line up changes, and successful performances the bands music has evolved via the storm of energy and inspiration from different genres like rock, blues and metal that the legacy of past and current band members have bought forward. It has been 6 years in the making, blood, sweat, and tears. But the story of SplitSecond is just beginning.”
Cashcult (10pm) – “We are a three piece band made up of Turin (Guitars/Vocals), Hayes (Drums) and Gareth (Bass), which formed in late 2009. We’re a stoner rock/rock’nroll/heavy blues kind of deal, influenced mainly by bands such as Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Deftones, with a dash of Shihad, Alice in Chains etc.”
The Lost Boys (11pm) – “The Lost Boys are a high energy 4 piece indie band with a massive following and live show that has been given the thumbs up by many music industry big wigs including Mike Chunn. After being one of the two Auckland bands to get into the national finals of battle of the bands 2009 The Lost Boys have decided to go full time with music as a career.”
