Get ready to dance like no one is watching, with one fist in the air, because Against Me! are bringing their anthemic sing-alongs back to New Zealand to make up for their cancelled 2010 tour. They will be joined, not only by their brand new drummer, the esteemed Jay Weinberg, but by Epitaph’s favourite doomsayers, Off With Their Heads, and Wellington pop-punk pioneers, The Outsiders.
Against Me! are touring in support of their fifth studio album, White Crosses, released by Sire/Warner in 2010, and produced by Butch Vig (Green Day, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins).
They will be playing two New Zealand shows: Wellington, May 14 at Bodega; and Auckland, May 15 at Backstage. With recent set-lists featuring an impressive mix of old and new material, this is a tour that any Against Me! fan will lament missing!
