Honoured as 2018's NZ Best Jazz Artist and the mind behind the 2018 Jazz Album of the Year, Umar is here to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his Tui award-winning album, Fearless Music.

A New Zealand bassist and composer, Umar is a beacon of hope for the future of music. His extraordinary talent transcends borders, unifying diverse musical traditions to inspire communication and cooperation across cultural boundaries. In 2018, he earned the prestigious title of Best Jazz Artist by Recorded Music New Zealand, a testament to his remarkable contribution to the world of jazz. Joining us on this musical adventure is the incredibly talented FĒI LÍN, also known as Yazmin Todd. Hailing from the serene landscapes of Coromandel, Aotearoa NZ, FĒI LÍN is a singer-songwriter with a unique style that evolves from indie folk and jazz influences. Her poetic soundscape weaves observations of nature with reflections on life, creating an enchanting auditory experience.
