Watch Phodiso's Self-Directed Video For 'Look'

Originally all set to bring the party at Karangahape Road's jam-packed The Others Way before Omicron torpedoed everyone's festival plans, Phodiso has unveiled a self-directed clip for 'Look', a standout track from the Botswana / Tāmaki rapper's 'Act III EP. Created with support from NZ On Air and filmed DIY-style in the central city's Victoria Car Park by Will Slingsby (who also edited the video) from Off The Ground Productions, all eyes are on Phodiso and friends as he busts out his infectious anthem and makes serious shapes with unassailable flair. Apparently a backup plan for an earlier idea scuppered due to Covid, I can confidently state this is one of my personal fave local music videos of the year so far — Phodiso explained the premise of the super fun visuals...
