Anna Fält is a versatile voice artist, folk musician, composer and singing teacher. She works widely within the culture branch, which includes theater stages, art projects and various festivals and venues. Born and raised in Finland, living in Sweden she combines the different vocal traditions, languages and singing aesthetics to a unique combination of sounds. Her big passions in life are human voice, Nordic folk vocals, improvisation, teaching, and spontaneously joining unexpected co-operations!
Andrew McMillan (Drew) is a disabled composer and sound artist based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland. His work explores the intersection of improvised music, sound art, and accessibility. A designer of Accessible Musical Instruments, Drew is currently completing a PhD on accessibility in music-making at the University of Auckland. He has created compositions and sound designs for theatre, film, TV, and dance. Drew is Co-Chair of both the Audio Foundation and the Touch Compass Board, and is passionate about creative practice that challenges norms and opens up new possibilities for disabled artists in performance.
Richard Francis is a sound artist working with electronics, feedback and field recordings. He has released solo and collaborative albums on Senufo Editions, Entr’acte, Glistening Examples, The Tapeworm, Korm Plastics, Banned Production, Aufabwegen and so on. He also runs a small publishing press called Buried Sound.
