Come all ye to The Boathouse St Patricks Ceilidh!
A fab mix of great music, questionable dance coordination, and a room full of people who’ve collectively decided that dignity is optional. A live band, lively tunes, and two! friendly callers who patiently (and repeatedly) tell everyone what to do. No experience required. The only real requirement is a willingness to spin, laugh, possibly bump into strangers, and pretend you absolutely meant to go that way.
You’ll form circles. You’ll form lines. There will be joyful chaos. There will be moments of surprising grace. There may be enthusiastic over-spinning. All of it is correct.
A ceilidh is gloriously welcoming—come solo, come with friends, come with two left feet. By the end of the night, you’ll have danced with half the room, worked up a happy sweat, and discovered muscles you didn’t know you had. Or just come to listen and tap your toes to some traditional celtic tunes with Footloose Ceilidh Band.
It’s less about getting the steps right and more about getting stuck in.
If you can walk, clap, and laugh, you’re already qualified.
