Welcomer are embarking on their first nationwide headline tour to celebrate the release of their debut album Calendars, out June 12 via trusted DIY stalwarts, Papaiti Records.
Calendars follows a string of European shows in 2025 and a self titled EP which was described by Under the Radar as ‘melancholic splendour.. in swirls of harmonious goodness, each packed with presence and perfectly placed’. Single Nothing of You Remaining was described by Rolling Stone AU as “blending folk influences with strings for a warm, layered pop sound”.
Joined in Te Papaioea by Monty Hall's Problem and Watercolour
Monty Hall's Problem are a groundbreaking electro-rungle/ party-shoegaze outfit from Palmerston North. Their debut release 3 demos. 2. are goats. 1. is a sports car was recorded at Snails by Hayden Sinclair. The group have a reputation for boundary pushing live shows opening for international acts such as Drook (USA).
Humbly self-described as a 5 piece band from the Manawatū. The recently formed Watercolour have already garnered a reputation via the propulsive live videos shared on their instagram. These promising snippets sound like if Title Fight were raised at The Stomach on the latest Model Home album.
