For placeholder’s third fundraising event, and for Te Marama Puoro o Aotearoa | NZ Music Month 2026, we turn towards the realm of live-produced experimental ambience and textures, departing from the visceral pace of the club and entering a space of relaxed listening, connection and contemplation.
This event will be held at Puku, a gallery space curated by Liam Jacobson which occupies Te Tuhi’s Parnell Project Space until December 2026. We welcome to the space three artists who will take us on a journey through their unique and inquisitive sound scapes and compositions: Bay Fourteen, Fern, and BJ Leo.
Due to the limited space of the gallery, we encourage you to purchase your tickets online to secure your spot inside for the evening; limited door spots will also be available. Come enjoy the sounds of the hardware - both musical instrument and public transport produced, unwind, catch up with one and other, and help us get one step closer to the completion of a new soundsystem for the Tāmaki Makaurau underground.
