Two of rock's greatest catalogues. The Rolling Stones and David Bowie, the ultimate tribute!
Brown Sugar have been delivering high-energy Rolling Stones shows across New Zealand since 2014. The Auckland five-piece bring two guitars, a thundering rhythm section, and a lead vocalist who gives the songs everything they've got. Their sets cover the full catalogue: Satisfaction, Gimme Shelter, Sympathy for the Devil, Start Me Up, Paint It Black, Wild Horses, and a lot more. They've built a nationwide reputation on shows that run hard from the first chord to the last.
Stardust take on the music of David Bowie, one of the most extraordinary catalogues in rock history. A group of experienced New Zealand musicians paying tribute to an artist who produced hits in every decade from the early 1970s to the 2010s. From Ziggy Stardust and Rebel Rebel through to Heroes, Let's Dance, and China Girl, a full career delivered in a single set.
Two acts. Three-plus of phenomenal covers. Some of the most exciting songs ever written, performed live.
Doors open 7pm. Saturday 1 August, The Stables Matakana.
