Samuel Max has recorded a raw indie folk EP in move space studio this year, so it seems only fitting to do the release show in the same place.
Joining Sam, we have Doug Robertson and Gabriel Jack sharing their gorgeous original music.
Samuel Max
drawing inspiration from songwriters such as Nick Drake and Elliot Smith Sam blends his soft vocal style and intricate finger picking with a more modern laidback style. His first EP self-titled tips its hat to Elliot smith's earlier work opting for raw unfiltered production as not to distill the music's emotional impact.
Doug Robertson
Is an awesome writer drawing inspiration from songwriters such as Josh Homme and Ronnie James Dio as well grafting inspiration from jazz blues and bluegrass. which combined with his virtuostic guitar technique, warm vocal tone and astute lyricism makes Doug a consistently riveting performer
Gabriel Jack
Gabriel is a great songwriter drawing heavy inspiration from artists such as Adriene Lenker and Bands like Pinegrove and Geese which culminates into a very unique style which always captivates audiences thanks to his strong voice and fingerstyle mastery.
