Since 2008, Abbey Road have been New Zealand's most enduring tribute to the Fab Four, recreating The Beatles' sound and energy live.
Named after the band's final studio album, the show spans The Beatles' back catalogue, from the early hits through to the White Album and beyond; Come Together, Hey Jude, Let It Be and everything in between.
The four-piece has earned its stripes on some of the country's biggest stages: Blues, Brews & BBQs, the World Rowing Championships, SkyCity Casino, the Masters Games in Whanganui, Mills Reef Winery, RNZAF Base Ohakea, and In 2014, they shared a stage with Howie Casey, saxophonist for Paul McCartney's band Wings.
Fronted by John Clarke (George), Don McCartney (Paul), Nigel Sanderson (Ringo) and Tim Armstrong (John), this is a full, faithful set from a band with the road miles to back it up.
Doors open from 5pm, get in early for dinner before the show starts.
Seating's general admission with mixed seating and standing (no table bookings), with plenty of room to dance.
