SLIM
Slim emerged from the Ōtautahi scene in the late 90s and quickly built a reputation for blistering live shows and sharp, melodic alt-rock with a punk edge. They released their underground classic album Drive Thru on Wildside Records in 2001.
The band toured extensively throughout New Zealand alongside label mates Head Like A Hole, Shihad, Future Stupid, and seminal Kiwi acts such as Fur Patrol & Betchadupa . Over the course of a hectic decade, they left their mark on major festivals up and down the country and played support slots for the likes of Tool, Korn, Rocket From the Crypt, and Regurgitator.
With a settled new lineup, further live dates and new recorded material underway, Slim are taking their adrenaline-fuelled show to a new generation of listeners.
THE RESPONSE
Still riding high on their single “Where Do You Run To?” - which spent nine consecutive weeks as the #1 rock song on New Zealand radio charts and their follow up “Hollow Hour” which remains in the charts to this day - The Response announce their latest track “Clear As Crystal”. The release arrives on the heels of a successful Australian tour in February, playing packed out venues while supporting Transvision Vamp, expanding their reach across the Tasman.
