Rufus Mundy is a contemporary folk singer-songwriter whose original songs draw on the rich tradition of folk music as a means of storytelling, social commentary and human connection. His writing explores themes of social justice, protest, love and our shared humanity, delivered with warmth, insight and a quiet sense of humour. Blending thoughtful lyrics with memorable melodies, Rufus’s songs reflect both the personal and the political, inviting listeners to pause, reflect and to join in. We’re looking forward to an evening of original contemporary folk music from another of Aotearoa’s wonderful songwriting voices.
