The Undercurrent presents Burgin, Kerr & Norman!
Returning to The Undercurrent for their final Wellington show of the year on Sat October 10th are Paddy Burgin (The Wooden Box Band, The Zimmermans), Andrew Kerr (ex. Jacky Tar, Parcel of Rogues, Dani) and Alan Norman (The Warratahs, The Rag Poets, Bill Lakes Slow Bake).
A swampy melting pot of country, folky americana, Burgin, Kerr & Norman combine a mutual love of story-telling and groovy narratives about the human experience. They perform predominantly original material, with contributions from each member, calling on a wide range of instrumentation including piano, acoustic and Weissenborn guitars, accordion, bodhran, saxophone, clarinet and percussion.
Paddy was part of the Scarborough Connection, who joined Alan and Andrew in their 2023 album ‘For The Record’ and the pre-existing duo is now an established trio on the local and regional circuit.
