Yes, the rumours are true…
Ben has hair extensions. Such a poser. Oh and Ryan doesn’t actually know how to use a camera, he just has ai do everything. Such a hypocrite. I’ve also heard that our fearless leader Lewis is ditching Aotearoa to live amongst the giants of Norway, his true kin. There might actually be some truth to that last one.
But don’t worry, his visa only lasts for a year. Surely he’ll be back soon enough?!? There’s no way the music scene in that part of the world is any better than ours right? Besides, a year is the average length between Threat.Meet.Protocol shows anyway, so why even bother having a leaving gig?
Well tough, we are. Honestly, we were just looking for any excuse to break stuff, and this seemed like the perfect occasion.
We will be joined by Te Aroha’s finest The Vile Maxim. We’ve been meaning to set up a show with these legends for ages now. Better late than never right ? Their last appearance at Ōkahukura absolutely went off! If you were there you know what to expect. If you weren’t then definitely don’t miss out on this opportunity to see them.
We’ve done some spooky witchcraft and resurrected our other support act from the dead. Come to think of it, it’s probably closer to reincarnation as they’re playing under a different name now. Whatever. Shockhausen (formerly The Bronies) were talked out of their original name after a lecture from Lewis on the true nature of bronies shockhausened them. Matt Bodman, Matt Beckett and some other guys not called Matt will be making their triumphant return to the stage with a whopping ten song setlist. It’s business gone mad.
This is one you won’t want to miss! But like, I actually mean it this time around. The drumkit won’t survive the night.
