Join us from 8pm, 29oct, at darkroom for Ro Rushton-Green and Reuben Derrick, the return of Checked Radiator, and the debut of missrosevalentina.
Ro Rushton-Green and Reuben Derrick. Two little birds communicating in the fog. Saxophones and other instruments.
Checked Radiator
As the fog lifts over the city to reveal its powerlines strung with dew and dotted with birds, Checked Radiator will connect sounds and noises that are also sounds into a partially listenable but mostly incomplete network. He promises not to sing.
missrosevalentina is a trans-glam provocateur and sonic visionary. Formerly New Zealand’s campy-pop superstar Hybrid Rose, she remains an underground princess at heart, now residing in Otautahi, where she explores adventurous waves of atmospheric pop infused with the city’s gothic-revival soul.
