Circuitry of the Wolf, formed in 2012 is a New Zealand Pop-progressive band based in Dunedin. Having attended the Primavera music festival in Barcelona, Leo McMenamin and Matt Johnson, returned inspired to discover their own sound. The two, having had experience in various bands of different musical styles linked up with bassist Leighton Grinstead and Drummer Ricky Simmonds (formerly of Minaret) to have their vision become reality. Drawing inspiration from the sounds of Radiohead, Field Music, Jaga Jazzist, Mew and Jamiroquai (among others) Circuitry of the Wolf has created a unique fusion of styles sure to challenge the listener whilst keeping faithful to solid pop grooves.
