Headless Horseman proudly presents, for the first time in NZ, US black/speed metal purveyors MIDNIGHT...

Black Heavy Metal is the law, and MIDNIGHT subjugate all subjects with their highly anticipated debut album after nearly a decade of EPs and splits. Satanic Royalty is both a distillation of first-wave black metal magick and an extension into harder-rocking territories rampant with lust, filth, and sleaze. The name MIDNIGHT has been a cult one for years now, but here they prove it beyond a shadow of a doubt - bow down before their Satanic Royalty!

Reviews for Satanic Royalty’,

‘Bursting with the raw energy of the genre progenitor’s DISCHARGE and VENOM’s NWOBHM-esque demonic racket with the vulgarity of Blackie Lawless, MIDNIGHT offer thirty minutes of altogether unholy and thoroughly indecent speed metal which is certain to get the adrenaline flowing and horns throwing.’ 9.5/10
- Chris C

‘Above all though, this record is just f**king fun. No politics, no scenes, just metal, beer, and f**king—the way it should be.’
- Ryan OConnor

‘Midnight’s music manages to span metal’s entire history without succumbing to any cliché concepts of “retro” or “revival”. There’s plenty of NWOBHM-ish speed metal here, but there’s also quite a lot of Darkthrone and Dismember. Satanic Royalty will never sound dated, because it sounds immortally cool.’
