Midge Marsden
Midge Marsden has played thousands of concerts and performed with a list of artists that reads like a definitive Who's Who of New Zealand music luminaries. He has been voted New Zealand Entertainer of the Year, toured the USA performing in some of the most prestigious music venues in California, Texas, Mississippi and Louisiana, and still remains the number one rhythm and blues artist in New Zealand today.
With a brand new album out in time for the festival, he is joined on stage for this live blues show by Chet O'Connell (guitar/vocals), Neil Hannan (bass guitar), Grant Winterburn (piano) and Mike Abbott (drums). Together their musicianship and unstoppable energy combine to guarantee a great show with a bit of everything from their vast repertoire: blues, country, rock 'n roll, old and new.
