Indie singer and pianist, Nicole Andrews, has established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the Wellington music scene with the release of her debut album, ‘In the Shallows,’ earlier this year. She’s now taking these songs on the road for her October album release tour, to include ten performances across the North and South Island.
Nicole will be performing live at the Vinyl Underground in Queenstown, on the 4th of October, from 8pm, with the support of fellow Wellington singer-songwriter and country-soul goddess, Jhan Lindsay.
In the Shallows is a collection of introspective songs with echoes of Tori Amos, PJ Harvey and Massive Attack, which was recorded at the award winning Surgery Studios, mastered at the iconic Munki Studios and received the support of Creative New Zealand. The album features guest appearances by Kiwi artists such as David Long (The Mutton Birds), Andrew Bain (Fur Patrol), Thomas Voyce (Rhombus), Daniel Ryland (OdESSA and Sorceress) and more.
