Almost like a home coming, Christchurchs mythic mongrel country band The Eastern return to one of their most loved venues the Boathouse, Nelson.
Eastern shows here are etched firmly into the beams and floorboards of this place, for the past 10 years The Boathouse has been a regular hitch up on the great zig zag of The Eastern's life on the road, the roof is always raised and the sea below churned and boiled due to the frenzy and heart burning from the dance floor above.
This one off will undoubtedly continue in that fine tradition and The Eastern look forward to carving their feet on that rickety stage one more time.
