Composer-guitarist Dan Sperber has recorded with free/smooth jazz quartet [SPAMMERZ?] as well as his international group Dan Sperber Complex and crossover acts The Relaxomatic Project and The New Loungehead. He also hosts the popular 7am Swim radio show on Auckland’s 95bFM.
Keyboard virtuoso Alan Brown has spawned projects such as the Hammond Organ-based Alan Brown Trio, the ambient duo Alargo, the electronic pioneers Mistake Theory and the award-winning jazz-funk band Blue Train. He has also toured and performed with Nathan Haines, Cherie Mathieson and Caitlin Smith.
Master drummer Jason Orme has spent more than 40 years on a drum stool. He has enjoyed a long association with Alan Brown and has recorded and performed with Ross Mullins, The Nairobi Trio and countless other top jazz acts.
Dan, Alan and Jason will play tunes from their [SPAMMERZ?] album Tear Your Together and other Sperber-penned numbers.
