Devon is an underground up and coming NZ artist from the Kāpiti Coast. Being lured out of the jam room, you'll find him smashing out high energy sets fused with hip hop funk and soul with the crowd always absolutely vibing.

Bringing some of the best to the stage - He will be joined by fellow jam heads Taylor Franks (Bass) and Ben Hillier (Drums) offering up an experience more powerful than the planeteers combined!

With an unmatched stage presence - The vibrations this guy puts out is not to be missed!

Horizone is one of New Zealand's freshest new funky dub bands which was born out of the necessity for a post-earthquake Christchurch music scene. Josh Burke (Vocals) and Matty Coleman (Bass) were working on an acoustic music project when they decided to expand their acoustic duo to a full 5 piece band, which set the stage for Tyler Robbins (Drums), Mattisse Kennedy (Guitar) and Saba Charles (Keyboards) to join the band to form what is now known as Horizone.
The sound of Horizone is broad and is constantly overflowing into new musical genres. "Shine"(2018) has a chill reggae vibe and is inspired by NZ legends, The Black Seeds and Fat Freddy's Drop. Other songs like "Gravity" (2017) have influences that come from the early days of Salmonella Dub while the sounds "Cardboard City" and "Autumn Daze" come from jazzier influences. At Horizone's live shows you can expect to be grooving to funky, fat, dub and reggae grooves infused with sexual synths lines, Fast paced lyrical hip hop raps mixed with soaring melodies that deliver you down into golden guitar riffs. ooosh!

Recently Horizone returned from touring the length of New Zealand, playing at many of New Zealand's greatest venues and playing alongside NZ heavyweights such as Sons of Zion, Mako Road and The Butlers. the 2018/19 NZ tour included some of NZ's top festivals and venues including a maximum capacity Mussel Inn (Takaka) on New Years eve 2018/19 to promote their latest single "Shine". Since returning to Christchurch, Josh Burke and the team have been working on writing some new material for their upcoming full length album.
In this modern age of an ever-changing music industry, Horizone pride themselves on being an independent entity with a DIY attitude which has propelled them to be able to write, record, produce, master, film, tour, host events, and sell merchandise independently.
Big things are expected in the works for Horizone, as their ever growing fan base eagerly awaits their next move.
