Gig Information

Wellington's Powerhouse Funk dub soul rockers BLUE RIVER BABY are touring NZ hot on the heals of hitting #1 in the IMNZ Top 20 NZ Album charts and claiming the #8 spot on the NZ Official Top 20 Album charts. This will be a not to be missed show at the Yot Club Raglan with support from rising stars Jessy and the Volunteers

Jessy & her lads are creating the funky future of NZ Soul/Rnb music. 100% original tight tunes grown organically in their Auckland basement ... This sexy, bluesy meld of funk, rock, RnB and soul will have you screwing your nose up with pleasure & sinking your hips so far into the ground, you might break your knees.

In their first year, they played a live broadcast show from their basement to a live audience online audience of 3k people, filled live shows across Auckland and played Earthbeat festival at Atiu National park in Mar 2019. Their debut video “Phone Face” has been a hit this winter with the Official NZ Music charts mentioning them in their “Ones to watch”.

Jessy & The Volunteers are working on two EPs with producer Nathan Judd of Rageous Records (Hipstmatics/Lou’Ana) and will be touring in November
