Considered a prodigy as a child, Sangeet has endeavoured in his career to revive ancient musical styles. An innovative musician, he has performed with leading artists in India and around the world, successfully employing a contemporary approach to the sarangi without compromising its traditional purity and essence.
Shades of Shakti is made of some of New Zealand's finest musicians: Justin Firefly Clarke (guitar), Basant Madhur (tabla), Tristan Carter (violin), Thomas Friggens (percussion and drums).
